Acoustic Wall Panels

To significantly reduce sound transmission, we use the BRC acoustic wall panel system to upgrade existing walls. Its slim composition makes only a minimum impact on your whole living space, while providing high-performance benefits.ApplicationsEasy to install and available for fast delivery, our acoustic walls can be applied to existing plasterboard or lightweight wall structures. They are also ideal as a solution to noisy neighbours, or for any existing wall that has failed pre-completion testing. Our acoustic walls are suitable for:
  • Offices and office pods
  • Conference rooms
  • Home theatres or opera houses
  • Recording and broadcast studios
  • Schools and libraries
  • Hospitals
  • Auditoriums and gymnasiums
  • Nightclubs and bars
  • Sound insulation
Sound InsulationOur acoustic walls adhere to Approved Document E of the Building Regulations Act 2000 and can provide insulation from noises that come from connecting or neighbouring buildings within a residential environment, common internal parts of a building, or in school areas.Specification
  • Composition: 15mm acoustic triple layer laminated to a 15mm fire-rated plasterboard
  • Board size: 1180mm x 1180mm
  • Thickness: 30mm
  • Approved Document E airborne requirements
  • Refurbishment and conversion: 43dB
  • New build: 45dB
Fire protectionThe acoustic panel is mechanically fixed to the existing wall and sealed with fire and acoustic sealant. Due to the non-combustible gypsum core, the plasterboard linings resist high temperatures, providing good protection from fire. Plasterboard is designated a material of limited combustibility for the purposes of the national building regulations.
Acoustic Screen

With different acoustic screen options, you can choose from the following:

  • Freestanding or supported
  • Permanent, temporary or easily removed from a mounted position
  • Placed at ground level or used in different applications (i.e. roof mounted plants)
  • BS or RAL painted

Acoustic screens afford the following benefits:

  • Customisable to any length, height, shape or design
  • Suitable for either indoor or outdoor applications
  • Easy to clean and maintain
  • Durable and weatherproof
  • Cost effective noise reduction solution
  • High levels of acoustic performance

Our acoustic screens are suitable for:

  • Industrial plants and machinery
  • Mechanical plants
  • Workshops
  • Chillers
  • Generators
  • Factories
  • External AC units
  • Condensers
  • Compressors

Components

Utilising high quality acoustic panels and acoustic louvres that are suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, we use soundproofing materials that help to achieve greater sound insulation.

Acoustic Floors

Our UKAS-accredited acoustic floors are engineered for maximum noise reduction, meeting stringent standards, including the Building Regulations Part E and Part B for fire safety.

Ideal for new builds or refurbishments, they are perfect for homes, offices, hotels, and more.

These durable, aesthetically pleasing floors offer excellent acoustic performance, featuring a BRC Acoustic Rubber Mat system, resilient bars, and double-layered acoustic plasterboard.

Tested to deliver superior airborne and impact sound insulation, our solutions ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while providing stress-free maintenance and tarnish-proof finishes.

Acoustic louvres

Designed with an aerodynamic structure, effectively reduce sound pressure while ensuring optimal airflow.

These noise reduction solutions are ideal for building openings, providing sound attenuation without compromising ventilation.

Commonly used in residential and industrial settings, acoustic louvres are perfect for mechanical plant enclosures, boiler rooms, and rooftop installations.

They are particularly beneficial in industrial applications like power stations, cooling towers, and chemical treatment plants, where maintaining airflow and minimizing noise are critical.

Enhance your building’s acoustic performance with our expertly designed louvres.

Attenuators

Our comprehensive range of attenuators is designed to meet the diverse acoustic and performance needs of the mechanical services industry.

Using advanced HVAC software, we optimize attenuator designs based on source noise levels, system losses, and noise criteria.

Our options include circular silencers, cross-talk attenuators, and various end connections and pressure ratings to suit different ductwork systems.

We offer custom solutions such as stainless steel construction, special flange requirements, and acoustic media wrapped for specific environments like hospitals.

Our noise control engineers provide tailored recommendations based on thorough project assessments.

Weather Louvres

Our weather louvres are expertly designed to provide high resistance against rain and other elements while promoting essential airflow in industrial and commercial buildings.

Preventing water ingress is crucial, especially in plant rooms with electrical equipment, where damage can be costly.

We offer a range of weather louvre screens, doors, and vents with features like polyester powder coating, pre-galvanised construction, and optional fixing flanges.

Available in standard depths of 50mm, 75mm, and 100mm, with customizable options, our solutions ensure effective protection and ventilation.

We offer full acoustic consultancy services that address many noise challenges across industrial, commercial and environmental applications.

Using advanced tools and methodologies to provide detailed noise and vibration surveys, sound insulation testing and noise impact assessments; our acoustic consultancy services include building acoustics and environmental noise management.
